The Sterling by Music Man JP150D is a guitar with impressive specifications, but without the price tag of the Ernie Ball Music Man version. This is because this signature model by Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci is built from a nyatoh body with a stylish quilted maple top. A roasted maple neck has also been chosen, which features a dark ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets and a modern flat 16-inch fingerboard radius. Comes complete with a luxury gig bag.
JP150D with DiMarzio pickups
Whereas past JP150 models still had the standard Sterling pickups on board, this JP150D has a set of DiMarzio pickups. The Crunch Lab and LiquiFire are the same pickups that Petrucci himself uses regularly, so the sound is perfect. You also get access to a 12 decibel volume boost, which you can activate via the push/push volume knob. High-quality hardware like the locking tuners and 2-point tremolo complete the guitar.
